In the morning, we will explore Les Baux-de-Provence, spending time in one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France, perched dramatically atop the Alpilles mountains. You will stroll through its charming stone streets and historic ruins before visiting the Carrières de Lumières, a former limestone quarry that has been transformed into a spectacular immersive video art space, where art, music, and light create a truly unique experience.
Afterward, we continue to Avignon, where you will have free time to visit one of the most important Gothic palaces in the world, the Palais des Papes, from which eight popes led the Catholic Church during the 14th century. Avignon will also be our lunch stop, allowing you to enjoy the city at a relaxed pace before heading to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. There, the day concludes with a wine tasting in one of France’s leading regions for the production of exceptional red wines, offering the perfect ending to this culturally rich and flavorful tour.
