Guiding found me by accident, but I now know I was meant to become a guide, because there is truly nothing that comes more naturally to me than sharing with others the things I’m passionate about — and nothing ranks higher for me than Provence. Its one-of-a-kind light, its sublime landscapes, its layers of eclectic history, its rich spiritual heritage, its living traditions, and the passion that runs through the veins of its people: there are simply so many things I love about this place.

After earning a degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Cognitive Science, I began working as a researcher in children’s neuropsychology, but it wasn’t until a few years later, while working for a large travel company, that the idea of becoming a guide truly took shape. After spending three years guiding visitors through my beloved region, I launched my own company with my friend Bernard, so that I could share with you what I consider to be Provence’s most unique places.

When I’m not working, you will probably find me wandering through the streets of different villages across the region, listening to music while cooking, or enjoying Marseille’s sunshine with a book in hand at a café.

I believe a good guide - a modern-day cicerone - doesn’t simply show you the sights, but helps you see them in an entirely new light, very much like a good narrator of a film. That is what I hope to bring to your journey in the South of France.

I am also the proud father of two wonderful children and a devoted dog lover. My interests span history, literature, cinema, art, economics, music, yoga, and gastronomy—fields that naturally enrich the tours I create. Each experience is designed to be informative, meaningful, participatory, and, above all, unforgettable and unique.

Hello, I'm Pepe

Provence Unique was born out of a friendship, a shared passion for the region we live in, and a common conviction about how our land should be experienced and shared with visitors

Bonjour! My name is Bernard. I built my career in journalism and filmmaking, and I hold postgraduate degrees in Tourism, History of Civilizations, International Relations, and Business Management. With over 20 years of experience in communication—working with major media outlets and international organizations—I have shaped a professional path rooted in storytelling, cultural exchange, and a deep curiosity about the world.

With family roots in the South of France, this region has always held a special place in my life and in my heart. It is here that I built my life and discovered, through the profession of tour guide, one of the greatest passions of my journey—a true point of convergence for all my personal and professional experiences.

I love sharing the beauty and the stories of this remarkable region with travelers from around the world. Meeting people of different nationalities and exchanging perspectives is what inspires me most.
